José Lema has taught English in Ecuador for more than ten years. After completing a degree in applied linguistics, he worked as an interpreter, an online language tutor, an EFL  teacher, both in the private sector and in university language centers. To further his education, he completed an MA in TESOL at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. Since returning to Ecuador, he has continued teaching, and is also a teacher trainer and consultant.
