Affiliation : LUNAM University, Ifsttar, AME-EASE, F-44341 Bouguenais, France (EU).

Pierre-Olivier  received the B. Sc and the M. Sc in applied mathematics from the Paris-Dauphine University (Paris, 1990). He graduated, as a civil engineer, from Ecole des Mines de Paris (Paris, 1992) .  He received the Ph. D degree from both the Ecole des Mines de Paris and the French Atomic Agency (CEA)  (1995).  He has been researcher with  the French institute of sciences and technology for transport, development and networks (Ifsttar) since 1997 where its research is based on contracts (European projects : Circ, Osyris, Intro, French project : Cervifer, contracts with Ermont, Eurovia, Ratp, Renault, RMC, SNCF, Tisséo)

He provides robotic techniques on research projects for transport systems (road and railway) in order to improve productivity, safety and energy efficiency. His current domain of interest is ecodesign.

Pierre-Olivier Vandanjon est titulaire d'une maitrise de mathématiques appliquées de l'université Paris-Dauhine, ingénieur civil des mines de Paris, docteur du commissariat à l'énergie atomique, habilité à diriger des recherches de l'université de Nantes. Il a intégré l'Institut français des sciences et technologies des transports, de l'aménagement et des réseaux (Ifsttar) en 1997 où toute sa recherche s'est déroulée au sein de contrats (projets européens : Circ, Osyris, Intro, projets nationaux : Cervifer, contrats : Ermont, Eurovia, Ratp, Renault, RMC, SNCF, Tisséo).

 

Il apporte les techniques robotiques dans des projets de recherche  pour les systèmes de transport pour des objectifs de productivité, de sécurité et plus récemment d'efficacité énergétique. Actuellement, il travaille dans le domaine de l'écoconception des infrastructures.
