I'm a professor of European history. On Zotero I'm compiling bibliographical data for a research project on religious heterodoxy and political radicalism in the 17th and 18th centuries. My main focus is on Dutch Mennonite revolutionaries in the era of the French Revolution. More generally I'm interested in historico-sociological patterns of religious change, particularly the transformation of new religious movements into stable orthodoxies that then themselves get undermined by new NRMs, and so on....
