Thomas Venema is a therapist based in the Niagara region.  A MSW RSW Registered, Clinical Social Worker, he has worked as a therapist for over 30 years.  His career began over 35 years ago working in adult mental health systems.  Back in 1981, he co-founded a private practise, Lidkea, Stob, Venema & Associates Family Counselling.  This practise employed 12 associate therapists, and had 4 different offices in the Niagara region.  He worked there for 33 years, until he opened his own practise, Venema Family Counselling.  Based in St. Catharines, Venema Family Counselling works to help people effectively and efficiently deal with personal and relationship issues while also teaching patients methods for coping with these same issues in the future.
