Steven Kelts

I specialize in history of political thought, and am currently writing a book about John Locke. I argue that Locke responded to the commercial changes underway in his time using a mix of different philosophical languages common in his time. But no matter the mode in which he wrote, he had the constant goal of alleviating dependence and inequality.
