Scott has worked in public education for 30 years and in higher education for 20 years. He has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Scott is a Google Certified Innovator.  He's earned the Time Warner National Teacher and the Classroom of the Future Foundation’s Innovative Educator Awards. He received his M.A. in Educational Technology from San Diego State University.  Scott currently works as an Instructional Technology Outreach Consultant at the Los Angeles County Office of Education.  Scott also works as Associate Faculty in National University in the Instructional and Educational Technology program. O

He has also taught courses for UCLA Extension, San Diego State University, and others. He presents at local, state, and international conferences. Scott is a Google Certified Innovator, Leading Edge Certified, and a CUE Lead Learner. He also earned the National Teacher Award from Time Warner Cable in June 2007 and The Classroom of the Future Foundations Innovative Educator Award in 2015 for his work in educational technology.
