Lecturer at the University of Illinois. Ph.D. awarded from the Department of History at the University of Missouri, 2024. In 2014 attained a Master's Degree in Historical Sciences and completed a Museum Studies Post Baccalaureate Certificate with Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Interest and area of study are 18th and 19th-century conceptions of nature, the genesis of a market economy, and the role of cultivating and selling "nature" in this shift towards a consumer and later market economy She is currently working on her monograph and teaching classes on early American history at the University of Illinois.
