Jaume Aurell

Jaume Aurell (saurell@unav.es) is Associate Professor at the Department of History at the University of Navarra (Spain). His main subjects of research are medieval and modern historiography, historians' autobiographies, and Medieval Coronations. His publications include Authoring the Past. History, Autobiography, and Politics in Medieval Catalonia (Chicago, 2012) and La escritura de la memoria, de los positivismos a los postmodernismos (Valencia, 2005). He is the editor of the series or "Rewriting the Middle Ages in the Twentieth Century" (Brepols). He has edited a volume on Historians' Autobiographies: La historia de España en Primera Persona. Autobiografías de historiadores hispanistas (Barcelona, 2012).
