Jean-Michel ROUX
Urban planner with a Ph.D. in Planning from the University Grenoble Alpes and hab. thesis from Sorbonne Université, I am currently working for University Bordeaux Montaigne, as full Professor in the Bordeaux Planning & Tourism Institute (Institut d’Aménagement, de Tourisme et d'Urbanisme – IATU) and researcher at Passages research lab in social and human sciences (CNRS). I have been Director of the Planning Institute of Grenoble (2016-17) and deputy director of the research in social sciences for the University Grenoble Alpes. I am also a qualified planner OPQU. I teach international planning studios for which I have been awarded AESOP Excellence in Teaching Prize (2019) and Prix PEPS for excellence in teaching (2019).
