Rosalie Anne Kingwill

Rosalie Kingwill is a research associate at the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS), University of the Western Cape and an independent critical consultant focusing on land reform issues, particularly with respect to property systems. She specialises in land tenure with an interest in hybrid systems of authority and family law with a particular concern for kinship, succession and inheritance. She is currently working on land administration reforms to strengthen land governance in South Africa. She frequently works with LandNNES (Land Network National Engagement Strategy), a national civil society platform promoting key stakeholder dialogue on land reform. interested in kinship laws of succession and inheritance.
