I am a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Sociology: Methodology and Theory of the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology of the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. Among my works I would highlight the books “Sociología del Conocimiento Científico” (1999, with Juan Manuel Iranzo) and “Sociología de la Ciencia y de la Tecnología” (1995, with Juan Manuel Iranzo, Teresa González de la Fe, Cristóbal Torres and Alberto Cotillo-Pereira), and the translation of “Knowledge and Social Imaginary” by David Bloor (1998, with Emmánuel Lizcano).

At present, the research topics on which I work continue to be related to the social studies of science and technology, with special attention to the field of information and communication/computing technologies (ICTs).
