Rachele has an academic background in the humanities. After studying Classics (MA, University of Catania) and paleography (Vatican School of Paleography), she pursued a PhD in Languages and Literature (University of Rome Tor Vergata / Ghent University). Her research expertise includes ancient and medieval Greek, as well as digital manuscript studies. Rachele currently works as a project manager at LIBIS, a division of the Research and Development department of KU Leuven and part of KU Leuven University Libraries. At LIBIS, Rachele is part of the team behind RDR, KU Leuven's institutional data repository. She also supports LIBIS' involvement in European-funded projects, with a focus on developing and strengthening strategic partnerships for cultural heritage initiatives.
