I work at an ecological field station for limnology, situated at the shore of Sorpe Reservoir in North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The aim of this station is to bring limnology to (high-school-)students.

My personal interests are the study of diatoms and to work on electronic measuring devices for limnology.
