Robert W. Gehl

I have received a PhD in Cultural Studies from George Mason University. My dissertation work is on Web 2.0. Simply put, I want to answer these questions: Why is Web 2.0 ascendant today? Who are the actors co-producing it? How are they co-producing it? How are the political and ideological claims of Web 2.0 either supported or undermined (or both) by the material relations between firms, workers, and users that constitute and reproduce these applications?

Zotero is a big part of this work; since my research is very web-intensive, its ability to capture data and files off the Web is very useful.
