Jeff: Think about how transitivity is like bandwagon

Transitivity says that if A links to X and B links to X then there is a higher probability of A linking to B than if one of A or B didn't link to X. Bandwagon says that if consumer A buys X, B is more likely to buy X. But for this to happen, A must know or observe B. Thus, A and B are already linked and A, B and X form a potentially closed triangle. This could be a very interesting new wy of thinking about bandwagon effects in SNA.
