Making the complex simple

I’ve had a wonderful and varied life:  I’ve been a soldier, mother, historian, and non-profit leader.  Born in the US, I’ve travelled extensively and have lived in both Britain and Germany.  While each place has its charms, Frankfurt has always had a special place in my heart. A few years ago, we were lucky enough to be able to return and are once again calling Frankfurt home.

I started life as an executive administrator and after a break to raise a family, went back to university earning both a BA and MA in History.   On my return to Frankfurt, I completed the CELTA (Cambridge University Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Although I’m a qualified English teacher, I don’t “teach” English in the traditional way. I work with you to find the skills you need to learn and we work from there. I help you to communicate in a way that helps you reach your goals – whether that’s explaining your product to a prospective client, giving a technical update to non-technical stakeholders, communicating with your team, or showing a company why you are the perfect candidate for the job.
