I have been a faculty member of the English Language Institute (ELI) since 1992 and a founding faculty member of the Center for International Student Access (CISA).

I have a B.S. in biology with a concentration in anatomy and physiology, an M.A. in literature with concentrations in American & British 20C literature and linguistics, another M.A. in linguistics and cognitive science and I am currently in Mason's new Writing and Rhetoric Ph.D. program.

So basically, I love learning.
