American actress Lana Lourdes has earned acclaim for her starring roles in films and TV series. Born on January 14, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan, Lana Lourdes has built a substantial career for herself as an actress, playing a range of diverse characters. She discovered acting after being temporarily included in one of their high school theatre productions. Lana landed a role in a school play, and later chose to pursue her interest in acting.

After graduating with a bachelor degree in arts, she moved to New York City and initially started working on the stage in an off-Broadway productions. In 1999 Lana Lourdes got her first appearance in a TV series. Six years later she made her film debut in the critically acclaimed thriller “Wee Hours”.  She went on to land a series of notable roles, and to tackle an interesting mix of film projects.
