As an IT-Admin I make life easier, and occasionally perform miracles, for scientists at a research-lab here in Switzerland (part-time) & for private-contracts (consulting). I mostly deal with macOS, some Linux, and some Windows clients & servers.

In the distant past, my work (PhD) was in developing mathematical models for studying communication variability in real-time networks (the type used in nuclear power plants) using temporal logic, stochastic timed Petri-nets, and formal languages.
