Katie Edmonds is an independent media producer who recently relocated to New York from San Francisco. Her latest project was for Cognito Comics, a media startup that uses top-end art production to bring current socio-political issues to a wide audience through interactive and new media.  While with Cognito Katie acted as Creative Producer on Operation Ajax, an interactive graphic novel retelling of the 1953 coup staged by British and US intelligence in Iran. Katie has worked in mobile games, documentary cinema, and social advocacy.

Katie is currently pursuing her M.A. in Media Studies at the New School and holds a B.A. in Political  Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
