III. Professional occupation
From 1998 to 1999 I worked as the associate researcher of the Kemerovo Research Institute of Agriculture in pig breeding laboratory. In 1999 I continued my education at the postgraduate courses in Novosibirsk State Agrarian University (NSAU). In 2003 I defended my candidate thesis (PhD) in biological sciences. From 2008 to 2010 I completed to study at post doctorate courses and defended my doctoral thesis (doctior of biological sciences) in 2013. I have been working at Veterinary Genetics and Biotechnology Department in NSAU as professor. I teach the following disciplines: “Genetics of farm animals”, “Biological Statistics”, "Mathematical models in biology", “Computerization in Animal Science“, “Information technologies in education and scientific activity“ and “Biochemistry”. The classes are both in Russian and English.
IV. Research interests
The gene and phene pool of farm animals are in the scope of interest. Scientific consultant in animal breeding and genetics of JSC breeding plant "Irmen". Biostatistics with R is used to achieve many goals in practice.
