The Production of History working group is an informal association of scholars researching topics related to how historical knowledge is produced and circulated in different contexts and time periods.

The group aims to create a space for students and faculty interested in how understandings of history are shaped by power relations, material practices, embodied interactions, and more, so we can meet, share ideas, and create events.

The group was originally developed by graduate students at the CUNY Graduate Center and is run out of the NYC area.
