The Critical Point of View (CPoV) is a Wikipedia research initiative, organized by the Centre for Internet and Society (Bangalore, India) and the Institute of Network Cultures (Amsterrdam, Netherlands).

The initiative started in June 2009 as a proposal for a research network, two conferences and a reader.
