Our heritage sites and historical records are under threat as never before - no more so than in Ireland’s North West. St Cormac’s society was founded to support the research, preservation and promotion of our shared and unique past.

Our volunteer St Cormac Digitisation project, digitally preserves local history records in an online archive for academic and public use. These publications are made available in digital form courtesy of our partners. Under our agreements with them, the documents may only be viewed online - please contact the repository where the original document is held to obtain a hard-copy or consult the original. This library was designed, built and populated thanks to: Oweninny WindFarm Community Fund, Mayo County Council and the participants under Mayo North-East Rural Social Scheme and Tús – Community Work Placement Initiative, whose scanning work created the documents showcased in our library.
