I´m a professor in the Autonomus University of Aguascalientes, México. My academic interests are the research related with land subsidence and earth fissures; geology and geophysic applied to civil engineering problems, such as, influence of the site effect in seismic evaluation, geotechnical zonning,  zoning of the risk asociated with land subsidence due to ground water pumping in granular aquifers and characterization of mechanical properties of soil using geophysical methods.
