Olivier GALLOT-LAVALLEE : Curriculum Vitae

Olivier Gallot-Lavallée was born in Sarthe, Le Mans, France (1976). He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the National Polytechnics Institute of Toulouse and received his Ph.D. from Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse in 2004. During this period he collaborated with the universities of Bologna, Leicester and Tokyo. Then, he worked successively in the University of Poitiers and Grenoble as Post. Doc. researcher. Since 2006, he is senior lecturer at University of Grenoble Alpes, carrying his research works with the Grenoble Electrical Engineering lab (G2Elab). He is the author of a book published by Wiley-ISTE entitled "Dielectric materials and electrostatics". Since 2015, he is head of a team of about twenty researchers, professor and doctoral students. His research focuses on the physical phenomena induced by the electric field in dielectric materials, on the practical applications of these materials, and on the processes involving electrostatic forces.
