My main research interests involve planning and disability. As an educator and researcher, I strive to move planning, education and practice forward toward a more inclusive and neurodiverse environment. As one of the founding members of Planning with Underserved Populations, a new American Planning Association Special Interest group that was inspired by work on the topic of autism, I dedicate my time to the mission of advancing planning around issues of urban equality and acceptance of differences.
