FreeSurfer Software Suite

An open-source software suite for processing and analyzing (human) brain MRI images.  The FreeSurfer Publications Zotero Library is organized into three main collections:

• History - a single entry starting-point: article detailing FreeSurfer history and methods.


• Methods - composed of sub-collections of the algorithms and procedures which constitute the functionality of the FreeSurfer software suite.


• Studies - research conducted using FreeSurfer.

In the 'Filter Tags' entry box, enter 'fs' to display the tags created by the FreeSurfer library curators.

The URL 'item type' in most citations links to a PDF of the publication.
