Ethan Gruber

I am a Web and Database Developer for the American Numismatic Society and a part-time student taking graduate courses in the Classical Art and Archaeology Department at the University of Virginia. I adapt technology to my academic interests, including the curation of digital representations of artifacts, and have written a few papers on the cataloging and dissemination of Roman and Greek coins online. Currently I am working on a new collection interface for the ANS called MANTIS: http://numismatics.org/search/. Additionally, I am engaged with several 3D visualization projects. I have worked on models of the House of the Faun in Pompeii, House of the Drinking Contest and House of the Boat of Psyches near Antioch, and IATH's Rome Reborn, as well as 3D modeler for the Pompeii Forum Project.
