My personal area of interest is urban and rural studies, from an environmental and sociological perspectives. I focus on sustainability and smart growth, with particular attention to urban changes and issues in urban sprawl. I support the idea of a stronger collaboration between researchers and policy-makers, further incentivizing social and environmental research findings to be a priority in policy-makers agenda.
