Edward Kariti

New York based painter and artist Edward Kariti is known for his extensive portfolio of artwork, and contribution to modern art in general.

This Boston native had an eye for art ever since he was a young boy and as time progressed so did his desire for creating. Supported and encouraged by his parents, Kariti decided to follow his passion and enrolled at New York School of Visual Arts, SVA. After obtaining his degree in fine arts, he began working on his first solo exhibition.

In his early works, Edward put color, rather than form as the primary medium. In order to explore the wide range of visual effects achieved through color, he often used a single geometric shape. Edward chose a single, geometric shape to show the depth of optical and psychological effects that colors can produce. His art, as well as his theory, is widely known and studied all over the world.
