The son of a commercial art director (father) and child psychologist (mother), Dan Weinstein grew up arranging blocks from IQ tests into attractive patterns on the kitchen floor.
An English major at Wesleyan University, Dan went on to earn a Ph.D. in American Literature from University at Buffalo (NY) and then, in a daring move quite contrary to his habitually timid nature, struck out to South Dakota to teach writing and web design in what has become U.S. News and World Report's "highest-ranked public baccalaureate college in the Midwest".
Dan is married to Dr. Jessica Nathanson, director of the Women's Resource Center at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN.
