I co-founded NoodleTools, a platform that supports teaching and learning of research.  I've been a public- and school-librarian, curriculum coordinator, school administrator, and in both the editorial and production departments of book publishing. I currently do professional development in districts on disciplinary literacy, inquiry and instruction, and write "Adding Friction," a column in School Library Connection on instructional interventions.
