Personal Profile
The most important thing I posses is my outgoing nature. This allows me to approach all types of people and work through difficult conditions. Also, it enables me to establish good relationships with others. I have participated in six different exchange programs, including Erasmus, which involved living in six different countries for months at a time. These experiences greatly broadened my knowledge academically and practically. Also, I believe that this enables me to conduct a greater range of speaking exercises that will relate to various levels of students. I am TEFL qualified, having completed the course in Brno, Czech Republic at The Boland School. From May 2006 till August 2007 I worked at the College of Languages as well as the Społeczne Gimnazjum nr 1 in Łódź, Poland. During this time I taught students of various ages, 6-23, and various levels, false beginner to CPE. I made the most progress with the youngest students. I have also given private lessons in business English throughout the years. In the 2008/2009 school year I worked for Augusta State University for the Office of International Education tutoring exchange students in English and helping the study abroad programs entice the student body to participate in an exchange program and also summer sessions in foreign countries. Starting with the 2011/2012 academic year I am working as a graduate assistant at the University of New Orleans.

Skills Summary -I have a working knowledge of the MS office suite. I have an intermediate understanding of German and to a lesser extent Polish. I have attained the rank of a silver level competent speaker in the Toastmasters International Organization. I won 1st place in the Georgia statewide competitions for both extemporaneous speech and persuasive speech coming runner-up nationally in the extemporaneous category. In Boy Scouts I attained the rank of Eagle. Academically, I am a member of the National Collegiate Scholars society and graduated with honors.
