I am a student of African American history, post-WWII "Urban Crisis" History and Race studies; my goal is to inspire awarness and deeper understanding of the ways "race" functions in American society.  I conduct the following lectures/workshops for high school scholars and professional development; The War on Drugs, "Race" and America, The Urban Crisis, "Race" and the World.  I graduated with a B.A. in History and Political Science in 2006 from the University of Minnesota and was accepted into their History Ph.D. program in 2008.
