I am a PhD candidate in English/Writing Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. For the Education Justice Project, I am a teacher-trainer in the Language Partners ESL program and I coordinate the research and writing group, where Champaign-Urbana researchers and community members meet to share their work on higher education in prison, incarceration, and other issues.
