Murali Basa is a well known theatre designer. Worked with eminent people. He completed his Master's from University of Hyderabad and pursuing his PhD from UOH. His works and presentations in the field of theatre have got good applause. He conducted numerous workshop on theatre design. 

He published good papers related to theatre and applied arts. His area of interest in digital media has provided a chance to make research on Digital Media at University of Arts, London. He visited UK two times. 

He is currently working as Asst Professor Drama at Dept of Performing Arts Assam University.
