As an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University, I teach an upper level course entitled "Mercy, Punishment, and the Common Good" as well as an "Introduction to American Government."

As the Wiliam E. Simon Fellow/Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University's School of Public Policy, I teach a graduate seminar in "Media and Public Policy."

I direct the Burnweit database project (biographical and district information for all California legislators throughout state's history) at the Rose Institute of State and Local Government at Claremont McKenna College.

My dissertation at Claremont Graduate University (Political Philosophy & American Government) explored the meaning of the common/public good in the ratification debates.

My senior thesis at Thomas Aquinas College explored the notion of the Beautiful in medieval thought (Thomas Aquinas) in relation to art and learning.
