Isobel Anderson
I am a musician, sound artist and educator with a PhD from The Sonic Arts Research Centre. My research has been published in academic journals such as Organised Sound and The Journal of Sonic Studies and my music has been broadcast on BBC Radio 2, 3, 4 and BBC 6 Music.
In 2018 I founded The Female DIY Musician, which has provided training in recording and production to thousands of women across the world with over 300+ students enrolled in my online programme, Home Recording Academy, designed exclusively for women. In 2021 my podcast, Girls Twiddling Knobs, was shortlisted for a Lovie Award and has had over 25K download, to date.
