Mani Malagon
U.S. Nuclear submarine officer (retired): commanded USS Olympia (SSN-717), served on major submarine and fleet staffs, and as Defence Attaché to Chile. Studied British naval history 1884-1904 at Leeds University, attended U.S. Army War College, electrical engineering (Naval Postgraduate School, MSEE '84), undergraduate studies in mathematics (MIT '74). Ongoing research into schizophrenia & metabolic syndrome.
