Jørgen Melau

I am a Norwegian PhD candidate. I currently do a PhD in cold water swimming. My main interest is Extreme Environments Physiology and Emergency Medicine. I have been working 10 years as a rescue paramedic in the air ambulance in Norway. I am Chief of Medical and Safety at the worlds hardest one-day endurance competition, the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon. Currently, I´m in a few projects were we measure core temperature and biomarkers on athletes and special forces operators. We are using the BodyCap system. I´m also in a few projects assessing the skill training of EMT´s, military medics and Police.
