Can I use authorship trigraph styles e.g. [aB09] or [AbCe08]?
Not yet - though this may be supported in upcoming releases of the CSL. Here's a discussion and a possible workaround which might help.
These styles are specified by the American Mathematical Society (alphabetic form) and a few other publications and universities.
