Jacek Tadeusz Waliński is a habilitation holder in English linguistics, which he was granted in 2014 after the publication of his book on Complementarity of Space and Time in Distance Representations. He also holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics (2001), M.A. in English Philology (1997), and M.A. in Social Pedagogy (1995). Over the past twenty years he has been working in the Institute of English Studies at the University of Lodz. His academic interests focus on interactions between language and cognition in the mental processing of the socio-cultural reality.
