I'm a PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics & TESOL at UT Arlington. My dissertation topic is clause structure of Jarai with a focus on the so-called Serial Verb Construction. Jarai is an Austronesian language spoken in Vietnam and Cambodia.

My wife earned her Ed.D. from Bob Jones University, and until our daughter was born in 2009, she (my wife, that is) taught elementary school music in the Dallas Independent School District.
