Medical Doctor graduated in the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003) and Masters in Public Health from the same university (2007). Has experience in the areas of Medicine and Public Health, with emphasis on Human Resource Development for Health, Primary Health Care, Telehealth / Telemedicine and distant learning.

In the first years of his career organized scientific events and directed amily medicine association; worked as a family doctor and researched in health promotion, human resource development in health care and primary health care.

Over the past ten years worked in the area of human resources policies in health, as adviser to the Ministry of Health and national professional of the Pan-American Health Organization - PWR Brazil. From 2008-2010 coordinated the Open University of the National Health System (UNA-SUS). Since 2011 is the technical coordinator of UNA-SUS executive secretariat in the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation - Brasília - DF. Since 2014 coordinates the Health Area of the research group on strategic administration of the Brazilian Institute for Science and Technological Information.
