The "Disciplines" etc. sections are just some of my areas of interest: Most are just to satisfy my own curiosity about the world, in general. A few, like engineering & visual arts, are to explore the passions of my soul and mind - an inteloper's glympse through the keyhole of the door slammed in my face by education.

My interest in Law is a personal quest - tilting at windmills, as usual, I'm sure, because even I know, as an idealistic realist, that laws are there to protect the slave-holder and not the slave (I live in E. TN, so the analogy is more apt than you know!).
