Is there a quick fix for this? Variables in OOo Basic are indeed limited to 65,535 Unicode characters, whereas in VBA the limit is approximately 2 billion Unicode characters. (Found a description of similar difference here: ​http://tinyurl.com/55o365)

Can we break up the variable into 65K blocks?

Installer for the MacWord plug-in (with appscript for 10.5 bundled), and extension for OOo. There still appear to be some bugs in OOo bookmarks, which I'm looking into.
