I'm getting pretty erratic behavior with un-highlight. Sometimes I can un-highlight just a portion of highlighted text (presumably desired behavior). Other times the entire highlighted text is un-highlighted. I have also had highlighted text "stuck" and unable to be un-highlighted. What do you suggest I do to debug the problem?

(In [1127]) closes #477, un-highlight feature. please test this; it's quite likely there are bugs, since the code is nontrivial and Mozilla's DOM range code support is far from perfect.
