Description (last modified by dstillman)
arXiv.org's page data will be best scraped by hitting their OAI PMH service, easily accomplished through a URL switch. In the likely event that we encounter other sites using a similar interface, suggest creating a dedicated translator to parse the resulting XML. Can then call this translator from an arXiv.org translator, etc.

- Resolution set to wontfix
- Status changed from new to closed
In [1092] the arXiv.org translator now uses their OAI-PMH service, but there does not currently seem to be pressing need for a generalizable OAI-PMH translator.

Reopening, since I'm interested in doing this. There are many online manifestations of archives that have OAI-PMH, and this would make adding Zotero support relatively straightforward.
