Styles installed from the repository to Zotero 2.1b don't auto-upgrade to csl 1.0 and thus don't work properly. Either the repository needs a prominent warning about this, or Zotero 2.1b needs an auto-conversion on install.

There is, however, an issue with recognizing when dependent styles have a bibliography, which is probably the source of the problems reported in that thread.

No styles are auto-upgraded by Zotero 2.1. If there is no version in the CSL file, we run the style files through update.xsl dynamically on load to convert them to CSL 1.0 and never touch the files themselves. FWIW, that style works fine for me with the trunk.
